I've had it!

2nd shot done! Been Covid shot fatigued lately. Can I blame how I've felt lately on Covid shot reaction? No! Not if I am honest with myself. I have allowed myself to spiral into losing muscle mass and gaining fat, especially the basketball stressing my belt and making size 38 pants strain at their button.
How did I get here? Purely a lack of discipline regarding eating and exercise. No excuse. I am getting (or "am") old and my body has creaks. It make lots of noises getting up and down. It doesn't like to bend. I can't do the things I used to do to be in shape (round is a shape nowadays).
But what can I do? I can track ALL my food and be sensitive to my calories. I can use small weights and gentle exercise (consistently!). I can work on getting better sleep. I can spend real time and some money to preserve and enhance my health. I have time and I have money.
What will I do differently than I have for the past 3 years (when I as at 190.)? Give my time to me for right thinking and activity. Exercise at my best time, stop procrastinating, and end up "tired" at the end of the day with no exercise and with the refrigerator calling to me. Too tired, having not tracked since breakfast, and "the day's kind of shot anyway, I'll have a little ice cream."
Faithful food tracking (awareness) is number one for me. Number 2 is setting aside a block of time in the mornings to do well thought out exercise which includes walking.
I know what do to do. I just have to do it.
