We went hiking today at Old Man's Cave in Hocking Hills in southern Ohio. It was SO GORGEOUS. I wasn't expecting it to be *quite* so icy, though. I slipped a few times but caught myself without falling. I also wasn't expecting SO MANY STAIRS at the end, but I guess it is a cave so I should have expected that. I'm super proud of myself for being able to do it! I logged 10 floors and about 2.5 miles today. I was the only 350lb+ person I saw there out of about 100 people, so I felt really good about myself for doing it.
We also went walking in the park on Wednesday! yay! I'm still feeling fatigued and pain, but the more active I am, the stronger I am getting. I'm going to let myself rest until Monday or Tuesday to recover, but I might still do some yoga and stretching.
I'm not really doing the greatest with my nutrition, though. We had some italian and tacos while out of town. Hopefully all of the cardio at least made up for a little bit of it. I'm going to really focus this week on cooking healthy and portion sizes.
