Frozen Yampa River - 3-3-21

Barbara Robinson was walking the Core Trail next to the river and snapped some photos of the frozen Yampa River:
There were spots on the Yampa that were still open:
Barbara spotted a dedicated fisherman in one of those open spots, just below the place the hot springs dumps into the river. Still, the temperature was 20 degrees, so this guy is passionate about fishing!
Had a beautiful hour-long walk along the river myself yesterday with two friends. Now that they've spent a little time together I think they'll be more comfortable reaching out directly to each other. One is a quilter and the other is a sculptor - very different artistic areas, but both very creative. I had to confess that my only creative endeavor is reading books, and I don't end up with anything concrete to show afterward except a list of what I read!
