Weekends are a challenge. The husband and two grown kids much eat LARGE. Big Sunday breakfast,, a big meal on Sunday night. He knows I am trying to drop some weight. He knows his big greasy red meat meals have bothered my stomach for the past few years but always just tells me, oh a little of this won't hurt. He loves cooking and I know I hurt his feelings no matter how nicely I tell him I don't want even a bit of some of the creations he makes. I try to get him to work with me to make something healthy but he just doesn't want meals that are light.

I make two meals every time. DH does not cook, but has no weight issues. I do not eat meat, he does. It is hard when people take it personally. emoticon

If you do the grocery shopping, put some substitutes in the cart, like lean beef and more poultry. Good luck.
