WOOHOO! That's a total of 11.3 lbs gone. According to the website weightandthings.com, that's the equivalent of 51 blueberry muffins. LOL.
Happy to see a loss on the scale this week, especially since I didn't do much exercise and had two days of excessive calories due to eating extra junk food. Ugh. And on top of that, this week has been my least productive week of the last 6 weeks in terms of getting other stuff done. But I did manage to stay reasonably on track, so I'm grateful that I managed a loss on the scale this week. That's 6 weeks of losses! I think of the last umpteen times I've tried to get back into the swing of things, I haven't had this much success. So hooray for that too!
This week I want to make a concerted effort to be more active. I was doing really well initially when I instituted my exercise when I get home from work (walk on the treadmill while watching the news). But I've found if I dilly-dally when I get home instead of getting changed right away - I miss my window of enthusiasm and have skipped it too often. So this week - I'm going to put that in my planner as an appointment for Mon - Fri. I'll follow-up in next week's blog with how I do.
I got my second covid shot on Friday! Woohoo! I'm pretty psyched about that and in two weeks I'm going to start scheduling a whole slew of things like a haircut, get my eyelashes dyed, maybe get a massage and a pedicure! Other than a sore spot on my arm, I didn't have any side effects. I'd say my arm was sore after both shots a little more than the flu shot, but totally tolerable and it didn't stop me from doing anything.
I had a lot of stuff on my to-do list for this week that didn't get done. Maybe I just needed a down and lazy week. lol. Anyways, I need to continue studying for my real estate exam. That's one of my big priorities at this point. The longer I wait, the more I'm going to forget. So I think the sooner I get it completed, the better.
Review of my February Weight goals:
I'm half way through the month, and so far I've lost 3 lbs these last two weeks. My monthly weight loss goal is between 1-2 lbs per week (which since there's 4 weeks this month - the goal range is 4-8 lbs). So I ought to be able to reach the mid-point goal if I continue my progress this month. Hopefully with some increased activity, I should also be able to get closer to my high end target goal.
What I'm doing now is sustainable, so now I just need to keep at it. Slow and steady wins the race.
