Mantra and Ease

As some of you read yesterday, I am trying a 21 day habit forming program. My habit of choice to upgrade is tracking my food.

Day 1 was to come up with a mantra. Face it, we all have a mantra about things. Our mantra tends to what we think about the habit. My normal thought about tracking is "the good, bad, and ugly". I would tend to focus on "the bad and ugly" part of the tracking. Naturally, this would put a negative spin on tracking. I followed all the steps and came up with my new mantra on journaling my food. The mantra is: "Journaling fuel for my body".

Day 2 (or today) was setting one up for success. Thinking of 15 ways to make tracking easy took me a bit. I was able to do it. My number 1 way to set myself up for ease, move my Sparkpeople app to the home screen on my phone. Other ideas are to use more sparkpeople recipes that are easy to add, add my nutrition info over the weekend (ahead of time), and journaling before I eat my meal/snack.

    Have you watched the updated video (Actually the one on youtube may be more up to date from members) on how to use the app? DId you know you can scan in items that have a QR?
