hitting home

My brother in law passed away a week ago. He was 67 and died suddenly and unexpectedly of a heart attack.
When someone dies it puts your own life in perspective. I look at all the "junk" that I have accumulated and think about what I should get rid of so others don't have to. I praise God for my family and want to hold them closer. I think more about my health and my exercising.
We also have had to do a lot of tracking down paperwork and trying to sort through things. We will be getting our paperwork in order so others don't have to go through the heartbreaking search for things.
I know God has a time set for us all and there is nothing we can do to extend our days, but we can make the most of the days we have. Praise God for all you have, your family and friends. Tell them you love them and keep in contact with them. Send them a love note (the old fashioned way) or text or whatever, and mend broken relationships that need to be restored.
take care of yourselves my friends!
