It has been a really good week.
I have followed my plan and it is
paying off already. I am loosely
following a keto plan and low carb
plan. I have been in ketosis since day 2.
In about 2 weeks I will try intermittent
fasting again, too much for all the first weeks
This week I have lost 5 pounds and
1/2 inch on my hips, which shows a
reduction of inflammation. I am eating
20 carbs or less. Fat and protein are
the main components.
I had gotten rid of all my exercise equipment
under mild duress from my dh. This week I
re-ordered a stability ball and will pick up 2-5 lb.
weights this week. I missed the ball and can only
use a ball to do sit-ups/crunches. dh got it pumped
up this weekend so that is done. So everyday, M-F,
I will do crunches, wall pushups, and 3 arm exercises.
I am keeping up with my water and doing pretty well
with sleep. I still missed one night this week, but for me,
that is good.
I finished one book this week. A nice cozy. I need to do
a "serious" one/two next. My goal is 2 books per week,
or 100 for the year. At least 12 1001 books, 20 modern
fiction, 20 Civil War, 30 cozies, and 18 religious topics.
One last GREAT happening is since I started my new meds,
my fasting blood sugar has dropped to less than 120 daily.
I have been able to drop the Tresiba from 60 to 40 in 1 week
and maintain under 120. This is really miraculous, since it has
been over 400-600 for quite awhile.
