FRIDAY December 4 2020

Having ups and downs. I am kind of on a down right now. I am having to take a break from riding my stationary bike. I have been having a lot of pain in my arms and shoulders, left shoulder and arm are the worst.

Found a new chiropractor Dr Dumas, and he is helping me. However, I have also found that my shoulders are bone on bone.

Have been going to him for 5 weeks now, 3 times a week. My insurance is going to cover some of it, but it is also going to cost a lot out of pocket.

I made an appointment with a surgeon to see about getting injections, but can't get in to him until January.

Doing the best I can, but not happy because I am having to take a break from riding my stationary bike. That bike has been saving me throughout this pandemic, so I am not at all happy.

Going to experiment and see if I can ride two times a day and less time. Fingers crossed I find something that works. That stationary bike has been a savior for me, and I have to figure out how to keep at it.

This too shall pass, but when? Guess we have to laugh. Praying for help.

PS. On the up side, I have lost 54, almost 56 pounds, plus the 8 I lost a couple of years ago. So, almost 64.

Thank you all for your support and great comments. I went to the chiropractor and told him I had not ridden my bike for 3 days and asked if he thought maybe staying off for an entire week, that would be 4 more days, would help. He seemed to think it might. Then, he did an acupuncture treatment and adjusted me to within in an inch of my life. LOL I think he threw everything at it since I said I would not ride for 4 more days. LOL I am quite a bit better. He also decided that my left clavicle was not right and worked on that. I did feel that it was not where it was supposed to be. So, I am sending prayers that all of his effort will help.

Thanks again. Spark people are the best.

Congratulations on losing weight. My DH is having issues with his achilles tendons and has had to cut back on his walking so I understand your frustration. Staying healthy takes a lot of work and constant management.

This pandemic is making it hard for most people to stay up, especially since there are fewer daylight hours.
Hope that you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving and everyone is well.
