. Focusing on The clock my hubby made as we prepare for our quarterly zoom meeting with my daughter and the state depts of community mental health, health and human services, her case manager, psychologist, sociology and even though we have all these professionals - nothing ever changes, we still are not given any assistance and we feel we can just hit the repeat button because it’s always the same. We hold onto hope, we keep waiting, at 63 we’re still accountable to all these agencies and it seems we never get anything in return. Today we have to again admit she has broken 3 more phones, and 4 pair of glasses since our last zoom. She is here every weekend, works every day, and we’re still doing everything we can with no help, no home aide, no help and she relys totally on us. I’ve done this for years and will until I die because she is not capable of living on her own! She needs help!

There are no words to add to the comments already said.

So, I too, will focus on the clock made by your hubby: The wood color/shades are beautiful. Is it oak? Cherry? Pecan? I like the face he chose simple yet ornate. Is it finished? What sound chime does it have; deep or light? Do you have to wind it daily or by week?

Time is for us to refine ourselves; physically, mentally and spiritually. Refining is needed at different levels of our maturation process. emoticon emoticon emoticon

This has been so disappointing and sad to see the lack of help you are getting. You are an amazing mama bear to have never given up.

I am sorry for your situation. My brother and sister in law got no assistance for their daughter either. My niece died when she was six. I treasured every day with her. Praying for you.

I am sorry you are not getting the assistance she needs. It can be a nightmare to have to deal with that red tape!! I will pray that something shifts in such a way that the help starts coming to her.
