The Cancer Code

Wednesday, November 18, 2020

Read THIS:

"Cancer is a formidable opponent, but we all have the power to influence the soil in which it takes root."

Or, if you prefer

...and then come back and tell us what you think!

May light always surround you;
Hope kindle and rebound you.
May your hurts turn to healing;
Your heart embrace feeling.
May wounds become wisdom;
Every kindness a prism.
May laughter infect you,
Your passion resurrect you.
May goodness inspire
You deepest desires.
Through all that you reach for,
May your arms never tire.

    Clearly I’m behind and missed this...have to check this out! My sister’s MRI is today, she meets with the oncologist on Friday to learn if the six grueling chemo sessions did a blasted thing. I know God has, that matters most.

    I am reading it now. Wow! I am half you through. The connection from obesity, to diabetes, to cancer - obvious! Stop feeding cancer cells! Lose weight, now! Get healthy, now! Cancer treatments are a best guess scenario. Prevention is best!

    Hi Ramona,
    thank you for the suggestion, I just bought the book. I’ve read the other book by him, The Diabetes Code, and I liked it. Thank you Ramona for cheering me on, yes I try to move. My early morning walking lady gave up on me, she doesn’t like the cold weather. it was only 7 C. So I thought of you how cold you have it! :) I think there basically is not a bad weather only bad clothes. lol However I will arrange with myself my walks.
    Have a great Advent time!

    Such an interesting writer. I believe along with Dr. Fung and others that food and exercise can cure so much of what ails us.

    I'll put it on request at my library -- I'm on Dr. Jason Fung's mailing list and practice intermittent fasting typically from early supper to lunch daily -- 18 hours a day. As a survivor of estrogen positive breast cancer, I truly believe that he approaches obesity science from an important new perspective. Effective for diabetics, effective for kidney failure, effective for cancers too.
