Power of 1

I heard a lecture yesterday about the power of 1 -- focus on making on change at a time. But the one to pick is the one that will have the most impact and will make other changes fall into place. Also that it takes about 66 days to make a new habit -- 66 days versus the 21 that we so often hear to create that new habit.
Seeing and hearing to focus on 1 change and to be consistent with that one for 66 days is helping me see why following the Beck Diet Solution is so hard for me after x number of days. It keeps having me add new things to the to-do list.
Now I need to think of that one thing to change that will cause everything else to fall into place. It snowed yesterday and I am thinking it will be here to stay, meaning it will be a long winter. I need to discover what change will benefit me the most for this winter season.
