Ice Event
Tuesday, November 10, 2020
We were to have a winter storm today. Instead some warm air came in making it rain. It poured today! If that rain had been snow, we would have gotten a fair amount of snow. One inch of rain equals 10 inches of snow. I am not sure on the amount of rain we got today. The temps were very concerning however being it was at the freezing point. Our cars were coated with ice after work. We all started them early to help melt the ice so we didn't have to scrape as much or as hard. I am happy I have remote start and didn't have to leave the building. Walking was starting to get interesting when we left. The roads weren't all that bad. Of course I didn't drive with my normal lead foot. It didn't take long after I left for cars to start going into the ditches. The road report app was reporting spin outs by the time I got home. Glad I got to leave when I did. The snow has started now.
Hope everyone is well. Thanks for stopping by.
