Weight loss ebbs and flows

So I am on month 4 of tracking and exercising and having some concentrated intentionality around weight loss. I am listening to my weightloss hypnotherapy daily, found a form of exercise that I love (biking), and have reformed my diet considerably, going back to whole foods that make me feel better. However, I have found that each month I gain back 4-6 lbs around my TOM. I lose 2-4 of those and then keep the other 2 lbs. I am just having to realize that a real loss of 4-5lbs is my takeaway each month and to not get excited about the loss and then gaining, to just ride it out. I have no idea if there is a way to decrease this, or if it's just facts. I'm treating it like facts for now, so I stop getting so discouraged. I don't know if this made sense, but I just had to get it out there because once I recognize my patterns I can either adjust them or make peace with them. So, there they are.
