Toe Blister

Friday, October 23, 2020

I just had to take a walk yesterday right before the sun went down and the snow flakes turned big and fluffy. But, I forgot to double up on my socks in my boots. My toe rubbed and now I have a blister on one of my toes.

But the views by the pond was so worth it! I love the first snowfalls of the season -- but really, Mother Nature, it is only October, too early for snow.

The ground is not yet frozen and so our snow plows are not plowing so our driveway and road is a mess. If they plow before the ground is frozen it messes up the road by scraping up too much of the dirt. So, they wait for it to melt. Hopefully, we get above freezing for that to happen.

Yes, the switch in footwear means a switch in socks as well. Have you every tried "Wright" socks? They make some with two connected layers and they really last. emoticon

Sorry about the toe! Winter walks are beautiful even if there no snow. Seeing all of nature eating the bounty that was left.
