Rainy Rest Day

Sometimes I have to remind myself that rest is an important part of the program. I love to move. I know how important movement is. Now I save my rest day for the rainy day.
My body needs the rest, and I'm taking my rest day on a rainy day. Running in the rain is no fun. Often I get chilled and spend a lot of time trying to warm up. I have a stationary bike and an elliptical to use, and will probably take 10 minutes of each of them. Yesterday I went for a 5-mile walk. I feel great, but my body needs the rest. If I went for a long walk today, most likely, I'd have some aches tomorrow.
Take a weekly rest day. Your body will thank you by continuing to work well.
