Cloud's in my sunshine!

Monday, October 05, 2020

There are cloud's in my sunshine trying to drag me back to a very dark place. Just when I finally found that ray of sunshine, hope peace and having slow success with my health and weight.

Grant it 2020 hasn't been a walk in the park for anyone.

Right before COVID-19 caused a lock down my mother ended up in the hospital. That was March 20th and the day later we weren't allowed to to visit she went until March 30th and passed away in the hospital .Alone on a respirator not knowing and understanding why we weren't with her. Of course we weren't able to have any real closure to date.

Even with that I was able to get to a good place with hope that I can finally start on weight loss. I'm slowly understanding why it's so hard to keep my weight down. This weekend I allowed my emotions to take over once again. Last week I was cleaning behind my upright freezer that I have plugged into a surge protector. Saturday when I got home from grocery shopping I finally realized the surge protector was off therefore the freezer was off and I lost all of my frozen food.

The emotions took over as I had to go back out for more frozen meals. I also went down junk food isles. You can guess what that means.

Today I was at the the eye doctor received great news eye pressure was down went from 26 to 14 emoticon news

Then cloud's in my sunshine again. I took a shower came back to the living room found my eyeglasses were missing. Found them! All chewed up by one of the dogs. They were the only pair I had in bifocals

My friend tells me that even when I do not see the sunshine on a cloudy day does not mean it is not there. I try to remember that during the difficult days.
