New Job

Saturday, October 03, 2020

After 3 months of being out of work, I was offered a job yesterday. I will be working in the call center for a credit union. I have worked in a credit union and a call center before and did very well with both. I am very much a people person in this sense. I enjoy helping others. I start on Oct. 19. Training will be interesting as they normally send the employees to the cities for a week. With Covid, it will all be on-line. I am the first to do it this way so it will be a learning experience for both sides. This company is known for being good to it's employees. They also are big on employee wellness. I will have a nice sit/stand desk in my cube. The only downside, I will have to do the winter driving out of town again. I have done it before. My mom did it for 36 years (and her road was worse I think) so I know I can do it. I will have to start getting into a work schedule now. Here is to new adventures!
