One of the suggestions on the gastroparesis (GP) diet given to me by the gastroenterologist was to take a vitamin supplement. Previously I had been very good at this, but more recently, i was struggling to swallow the pills. I had tried, and had very good luck with DoTerra's LLV supplements. I had also taken turmeric, based on both internet research and a recommendation from my oncologist that it helps a lot with inflammation. Inflammation was mentioned prominently in my recent gastric tests.

I've had a bad run with GP for the last week or so... feeling bloated, lots of burping & farting (sorry for the TMI). Sunday I had started again taking a half dose of the LLV (even adding it to my SP goals) to try to get back on track. Yesterday I added a dose of turmeric. Last night I finally felt free of the GP symptoms I have had this past week. It hit me like a thunderbolt this morning that the reason it finally cleared might just be the supplements, especially the turmeric.

Here I am writing that down, so I can remember what has worked (or seemed to). One of the Rowdy Rebel leaders challenged us to write down some goals, as well as steps to keep us on track. I didn't think I needed a vitamin goal, but perhaps I do. Certainly the steps to keep me on track wouldn't hurt. Every sentence or two in writing this I am swallowing another vitamin. Baby steps.
