Autumn seems to be setting in for good this time. In early Sept. we had the "false" fall. It got pretty cool and it was tempting to turn the heat on in the house. I don't remember the last time kids started school with pictures having them in jean and long sleeves. Walkers were bundled up in coats, hats, and gloves. I even put some gloves on one day when walking. True to MN weather, it warmed up and we were in shorts again. The first official day of autumn was 84 degrees. It is cooling off again. I believe we are actually in fall. The leaves are saying this as well. We should hit peak colors this weekend. This morning was a bit chilly. They are talking frost over the weekend. I welcome the new season. Time for hot cider, apple picking, and hoodies!

Wishing you well today.

I always liked fall, but know the dreaded winter was on the heels of fall. Winter, was always too cold for me, and I lived in MN. for 72 years before we moved to the very south in Texas. We will be having some cold mornings the next several day with lows in the 50's. That is a big drop when only a few days ago it was 84 degrees at 7 AM.

emoticon Autumn is my favorite! The trees have changed here and there is a light dusting of snow on the mountains. I love getting out into nature this time of year and would love to see MN in the fall. I'll bet the leaves are spectacular. Enjoy! emoticon
