Rural Rush Hour - 9-20-20
Sunday, September 20, 2020
This is the time of year when cattle and sheep are being brought out of the high country down to valley pastures:
It's not uncommon to get caught in one of these "rush hour" moments, with sheep or cows surging around your vehicle while a dog tries to keep them moving. DD was actually late for her own wedding when she got caught in a massive herd of sheep on the move on a narrow road!
For some reason the cat is being very needy the past couple days. She INSISTS on being on my lap while I'm at the computer, but then won't settle down - turning around and around in my lap, as if she's going to find a different way to wedge herself in between me and the keyboard. If I stop petting her (like, if I'm actually TYPING on the keyboard) she paws my hands until she gets the attention she so richly deserves. I finally got smart about what I wear around the house. My clothes now cleverly disguise (most) of the cat hair!
