Don't Quit Before the Miracle Happens
Friday, September 18, 2020
Just last night as I watched a TV series, I walked into the TV room and heard, “Don’t quit before the miracle happens.” From Yesterday morning and until early evening, I sensed the enemy’s oppression as he attempted to prevail against me with fear and weariness of mind and emotions. I have had this same kind of attack before, but it has not been for a very long time.
Over ten years’ time I have been obeying God’s rhema words to me regarding a physical attack. In February of this year, I entered a hospital because one lung had collapsed. They finally diagnosed me with 4th stage breast cancer. I did not budge. I knew what I had heard from the Holy Spirit, and I knew God had me covered. By this time, the word cancer had no effect on me. It is just a word. God had walked me through standing, persistent standing on His rhema words over the course of 10+ years for this attack. Even though this thing became progressively worse by sight, I continued to hear and stand. So when the report of 4th stage came, I knew it was meaningless. God’s rhema Word is how I live and by what I live. We walk by faith, not by sight. In the early stages, as I prayed to my Father and asked Him if I should stop drinking coffee to see if that would have any effect, He said, “I have a work to do and it is not for you to work.” Every rhema He gave me led me and showed me my part. I submitted to Him, and it was very difficult at times, but I know what I had heard.
Hebrews 5:8 became a living reality to me just as Paul wrote in Philippians 3:10, the fellowship of Christ’s sufferings. I am only sharing this because God’s rhema Word will come to pass. Know who you are in Christ and always seek God’s wisdom in everything (James 1:2-5). His wisdom He imparts through the Holy Spirit IS a rhema Word. God deals with us as individuals. My walk is not your walk. Your walk is not my walk. But Jesus is the author and completer of our faith…the Word of God is author and completer. Begin anew today and be a doer of God’s Word. Forget the things that are behind and press on.
We are redeemed from the curse of the law, and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Fear not. It is God’s desire to give us the kingdom (Matthew 10:1; Luke 9:1-2). The enemy has nothing on us. Colossians 1:12-14 tells us where we abide, and the kingdom of darkness has no jurisdiction over us! We overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the words of our mouth. Little flock, we are the healed and the redeemed in His name! Therefore,
• Put on the whole armor of God.
• Stand against the Devil.
• Use the name of Jesus.
• Obey the voice of the Lord.
• Walk in truth and love.
