Lose Weight for $

Next week at our TOPS meeting, each person who has lost weight in the last week will get a $25 prize. Nice! Sounds easy, but fun too. I am results oriented so it is an incentive for me. Starting today I am working on getting the $25.

In between the 5% Challenges I like to lose weight so I still feel I am accomplishing something. During the summer 5% challenge I lost about a pound a week, so losing 2 pounds before the Fall 5% Challenge is possible. This summer I ate well, but at the higher end of my calorie range, still I lost 7.4 pounds!

I know what I have to do - nutrition track, plan my meals, Slimfast, stop buying little 'goodies', daily YouTube exercise videos, and get better sleep so I am not roaming the kitchen at midnight.

I will do the 7 day make ahead breakfast - 1/4 c. yogurt, 1/4 c. cottage cheese, 1/4 c. unsweetened plum sauce, and 1 tbsp. wheat germ. No decision making just 150 calories. It gets me over the first hurdle in the morning - what will I have for breakfast? The decision is already made and it satisfies, and often at noon I don't feel very hungry.

Daily YouTube exercise video streak - Week 16 Day 1. That's 106 consecutive days! I spent a couple of hours today look for new types of videos to get more variety, and also a few shorter ones for busy days when I have to exercise at night and I am really tired.

I need new home project to get excited about. 1) We are working on my daughter's house 2) Organize the garage to make space for winter socially distanced visits with family and friends.
