All is well in OJ-land.
Not feeling the love and tired of reading/hearing the news. I've been into household and outdoor projects to keep my sanity at an operational level.

Best thing we did, last January, was get rid of cable. The calmness felt in our house is amazing. I’ve been reorganizing my entire house, one room at a time. Finished the basement yesterday 😊

Yes, staying sane is the order of the day -- you're not alone in that.

I have mostly stopped watching the news. One can absorb only so much. It is good to hear that otherwise, all it well. (It is interesting that both our fathers were radio operators.)

Totally get that . . . feeling very much the same.

It's a frightening situation all around: and those who don't acknowledge that, the most frightening of all perhaps.

But: as for YOUR brain being fried?? No no no, never.

And in any case, our conversations here are mostly about heart, not head -- doncha think?? Your big big heart is also ever open.

I do try to stay on top of the news without getting all stressed out About the things I cannot control.
My husband and I rarely watch TV together, although we only have one TV, but lately we have been looking for a Netflix series that we can watch together in the evening.
We really enjoyed Better Call Saul and now we’re watching the Medeci about the rich Italian banking family in the 1600s or something like that.
Kind of fun to watch ....mindless entertainment.
    Stay cool,my friend
    The heat is back!

Hubby is where you are. He sees orange hair and the T.V. is turned off. I watch it like a train wreck as we must not get covid.and I may have to make a quick trip down the Amazon River to obtain a cure for corona. Yes, you will be on my supply list. Once a nurse, always a nurse. emoticon

Sanity sounds good. Had the news turned off for a while here, too. Seems all they want to do is scare people... one direction or another!

Calm. Breathe... and hopefully in an hour or so I'll be done with plumbers for a while. Different guy today, but I'm sure he's just as good. emoticon emoticon emoticon
