New exercise routine

I joined the YMCA! It has been years since I had a gym membership. Hopefully the Covid-19 virus will not close the gym anytime soon. I will just have to wait and see. Thankfully right now I am able to go swimming. This past week I went swimming everyday from Monday to Friday. I was nervous at first because it has been a long time since I swam, but soon I was back to doing laps. Now I am doing an hour of swimming a day. I am taking the weekend off of swimming, but I plan to do the bike and the treadmill here at home. It feels so good to be active again. My belly has gone down a good amount from this past week so now I am going to start tracking my measurements to keep a record of my progress. I am so excited! I love to swim and it is proving to be a powerful way to workout. I am also trying very hard to eat low carb. I have been eating egg whites and ham for breakfast and then a protein and a large salad for lunch and dinner. So far so good. I can't wait for the next week to start to get back at it! emoticon emoticon emoticon
