What's the Reason Behind Going Off the Food Plan?

Saturday, July 11, 2020

62 days into the quest to get the food choices right.....I am not doing too good.

Over the past week I gained a few pounds. Why? Well, because I started eating things I
shouldn't like cookies and extra snacks not listed on my food tracker. In fact, I haven't been
to the food tracker all week but I will put my food in for today after I finish this.

There's something else I wish I could do -- stop the craving for sweet and salty foods. It happens whenever my husband isn't nearby. I think I can get away with eating extra stuff
when he's not around. But why would I even want to do that? It's so childish.

I need to work harder to figure out why I do these things.

Any suggestions out there?

About the only solution I could succeed with was simply not having trigger foods in the house. I just found it easier to say NO once in the store and not bring it home, where the siren song was continual from the pantry or fridge.

    Good luck to you.

I try drinking more water or have a cup of tea to stay away from sweets.
