Balsamic-Honey Glazed Chicken Breasts

I'm behind on blogging my recipe reviews.

Last week, I prepared Balsamic-Honey Glazed Chicken Breasts on page 204-205 in the Against the Grain cookbook that I've been working my way through.

The first change I made was that I added 2 tablespoons of honey instead of the 2 teaspoons cited in the recipe and I'm glad I did. Even still, I didn't really notice it as much as I expected to.

The recipe also called for 1 cup sliced onions. I personally found it to be too oniony even though I like onions. If I made it again, I might use a sweet onion instead like a Vidalia for example.

The photos I took of the finished product weren't very flattering so I'm not going to post them.

The final product was okay. It did help with providing moisture to the chicken breasts but overall, I probably won't make it again. I rate it 2/5.

    Good try, your rating is useful. i love chicken but just the word honey in it wouldn’t entice me to try it. Thank you for your practical input.
