Que Sera Sera

I share gratitude for the kind comments I received yesterday.
Sorry for being so maudlin.
Things got better. My partner and I ordered Thai food and had a Pose marathon last night.
Not only is Pose just fantastic, engaging television, but it connects me to another time when people were dying, helpless and full of fear. Many of my LGBTQ brothers and sisters died - but we as a People survived. And their strength and fierceness encourage me to do better, to be stronger, and to LIVE - no matter what.
Trans people of color are some of the most targeted people in America. They are often cast out by their families and victims of violence just for trying to live and be true to themselves. Take a peek at this site for ways to support Trans and Trans People of Color:
I can do my best to take precautions, but nobody knows what will happen next - for any of us. I choose LIFE. I choose compassion and kindness and also treasuring what gifts and love I have right now. Every single moment.
If you haven't heard this rendition of "Que Sera Sera" by Sly and the Family Stone, drop everything and listen now. It's just so damn good.
Bonus points if you know what 80s film this was used in (for the end credits)
