Healthy Snacks

Happy Saturday, everyone!

Over the past couple weeks I've been trying out different healthy snacks that don't break that calorie bank. I've compiled a list of my favorites and wanted to keep them here for easy reference.

1. Chocolate pudding with a few pretzels
2. Celery with cream cheese
3. Cucumber or carrots with hummus
4. Popcorn
5. Cheese stick & fruit snacks
6. Apple slices with peanut butter
7. Yogurt with granola
8. Edamame with sea salt or soy sauce
9. Rice cake with peanut butter
10. Berries with chocolate syrup or whipped cream

I've tried to include a couple things that are easy to stick in my purse or car if i'm on the go! What are your favorite healthy snacks??

    All you can do is try things lovingly but firmly and be willing to adjust after a period of compliance. Without shame or drama! My body gets its snacks from its own storage... emoticon

    I do best if I don't snack as snacking often triggers me and then I won't stop.
    Sometimes I treat myself to a 100 cal. ice-cream sandwich at night though...
    Gotta have some guilty pleasures :)

    It took years to evolve but two solid meals a day and evening snack/dessert. I do add some from your list to my meals. My go-to filling snack is greek yogurt with cooked fruit like air fried apple slices sprinkled w/ cinnamon, cooked berries that feels like eating pie, pina colada (a little sweetened coconut, canned crushed pineapple, all topped with walnuts or added chia seeds if cal limit allows. Just like salads, I eat greek yogurt most days. I had to develop a taste for the plain one by mixing flavored yogurt till finally...! I can even make my own yogurt!
