Over two weeks now ...

... and positive progress is being made and is continuing.

Hi all - hope this finds you safe and well and possibly (would be great) bring some encouragement and inspiration to you too.

It's day 16 for me and I am keeping on keeping on track. Things are slowly beginning to become easier as I settle into my routine. It's very early but I *think* I can feel a difference in my clothing but that won't really become totally undeniable/non-wishful thinking for another week or two. I am looking forward to hopefully beginning to get comments from others in about 10 or 11 weeks when progress is really noticeable to others.

My weigh in days are a Monday and so far I have lost 3.5kgs (about 7.7 pounds) between 01 June and, yesterday, 15 June. I am expecting this to taper off/slow down in the next week or two and settle into what the rough weekly average will be.

I have been for a walk round the lake (2 laps) this morning and yesterday morning too. I am planning on repeating this tomorrow if I am not called in to work. I have a social event tomorrow evening so will make the best decisions I can but am not too hung up about going over calories etc as this is a lifestyle change and not a diet.

I am looking at beginning couch to 5k when I hit the 100kg mark - by then I will have built up some base fitness through walking to then slowly transition to a combination of walking and running and, eventually - at about 80kgs perhaps transition fully to running but these are just rough plans and I will adjust accordingly if needs be.

Better dash and get on with the rest of the day. Happiness and peace to all emoticon

    emoticon That is an awesome start! Keep up the good work. I'm weighing, but trying to ignore it when the scale is not being nice to me. So much fluctuation depending on how much sodium I had the day before, and how much I sweated when working in the yard. I've taken to looking at my trend chart, which gives me so much more comfort than the day to day. It shows true progress rather than just day to day fluctuation. Wish I had the motivation to start running again. Unfortunately, I like to sleep too much, so it's hard for me to get moving in the morning. Got to work on that.
