Triple Digit Heat Day

Saturday, May 30, 2020

Only thing that list is missing for me is "Pray".

Today was not just like every other day! I know...what are the odds?!

emoticon Slept in way too late and I'm sure it was Ellsworth and Auggie's fault as they snoozed nearby in a quiet house.
emoticon Went to buy gasoline for the lawn mower for Isaac.
emoticon Bought a Dr Pepper at McD's (I'm down to one/day now which is progress!)
emoticon Checked work and personal email.
emoticon Visited with Tayler for most of 3 hours about Maegann (was a good discussion, but I admit I was in tears several times) and I was pleased to see his happiness restored.
emoticon Did some Sparking.
emoticon Talked & prayed with SP friend Nancy Jean. (Thank you!)
emoticon Ham and Swiss sandwich for supper with some yummy grapes.
emoticon Finished a movie that Tim and I started last night and now watching Star Wars Mandalorian (Disney).

Tim came home with heat exhaustion and his joints are having spasms and finally found some Magnesium to help with that and he's taken a lot of C. It was 97 by 11am and they worked on those fences from 7:30-3. He did come home and take a long nap before supper and is doing much better.

Isaac started mowing the lawn, but quit after the back as it was too hot. He will finish tomorrow when the high is only supposed to be 76.

Maegann worked at Walmart today and they had her painting in the warehouse so she had a lot of Walmart blue on her tonight. Wish they had told her beforehand so she could have worn some older clothing, but no such luck. Tonight she is off at the bowling alley/arcade with Emily and her family. She works with Emily. Hoping she will come home around 10 to get a decent sleep before her long day tomorrow. Has 5-6 people coming for hair/nails.

For me tomorrow...worship online, Prayerful Planner and Bible study and then email, reading, cross-stitch or ??? I'm definitely making it a mental health day for me!

That was a busy day. It was too hot for us here too. Plus it never really cooled down last night so the house started out hot this morning.

Good for you on the Dr. Pepper! I drink a caffeine free diet Dr. pepper when we have pizza. It's nothing like the original but I'm past that now and onto spending those calories on items more nutritious and just as tasty.

Glad you are down to one Dr. pepper (soda) a day. Soon you will be able to not have any completely! I've not drank any soda(my was diet pepsi or diet dr. pepper) for almost 4 years now. One of the best habits I even quit! I just have an unsweetened Ice Tea occasionally but its just plain ice water 24/7..

    Janet,

The weather here was barely in the 80s if even that high and you had 100-degree weather!! Send some of that warmer weather here to me!!! I would love to see more sunshine!!!!!

I am happy that Tim had you and you understood what to do for him, as he was very worn out but just the fact of you being there and nursing him back to health did a lot for him!!!

WOW!!!! Isaac was out mowing in that heat??? I am happy that he finally gave it up until tomorrow when it will be cooler!!!

You're doing well and everything is fine, young lady!!!! Thank God for it and move on!!!!

    Blessings!
