When I told my cousin I had to get my BMI back below 25 she asked what is it now. When I said 26 she laughed. She said 26 is fine; I can't be expected to conform to the under 25 rule because of my background and body type.
Her explanation was that curvy women will have more body fat and a higher BMI, and it's perfectly natural, and I shouldn't be concerned. I have NEVER read anything even close to that. What's more, her Facebook timeline is full of pictures of fried and high fat foods.
To each his own.
