Looking for a certain quote about not letting one missed thing throwing you off track

Monday, May 04, 2020

Yesterday was a pretty good day. Went for a long walk in the beautiful weather and got to see my father for the first time in two months. (through a door and masked with social distancing). Even stayed within my calorie goal for the day.

However I didn't drink my water or do a workout in the Bootcamp series. And I realize that missing one day doesn't mean I can't keep moving forward but I tend to do that.

I have read many times a good saying on here that I can't find now. Something that puts in perspective. Something like would you stop your trip because of a flat tire or something like that.

Does anyone know what I am thinking of. I wish I had written it down. Ideas welcome as I continue to drink my water.

p.s. I had held off on drinking water as I knew when I went to my Dad's I wouldn't be able to use the bathroom and it wasn't as if I could go to a store either to use one. There are certain advantages we take for granted that many folks don't have.

Be safe everyone!

Glad you got to see your dad even though it was far from the ideal situation. I bet it meant so much to him. I too sometimes want to give up the trip to one flat tire, but you are so right, we just fix things and move forward!
