End of week 7...and a breakfast salad...

Wow...almost two months of staying home!
I decided to start the day with one of my favourite weekend breakfasts. A breakfast salad! This one has spring greens, cucumber, leftover sweet potatoes, grape tomatoes, avocado and eggs. I made an English Toffee iced coffee to go with it (skinny syrup and skim milk).
My sour dough starter is three weeks old today and I have a loaf rising to bake later this morning. I am equally surprised and pleased whenever I take the starter out of the fridge and see that it’s still active. Hopefully I can keep it going!
This week I had an order of flavoured coffees arrive for making my morning iced coffee. I am spoiled already and don’t think I will be able to go back to the brands I was using from the grocery store. I placed an order with Java Works Roasters in Toronto and it shipped so quickly! The flavour is amazing. I ordered varieties that I thought would work well iced: English toffee, caramel macchiato, creme brûlée and Canadian maple. So far, I am very impressed. I only have one coffee a day so they will last me for quite a while. The only reason I placed the order is due to the fact the grocery store has been out of the flavours I buy forever and I haven’t been able to get any in my online grocery orders.
Time to plan my morning!
