BLOG CHALLENGE - Biggest Struggle in Weight Loss Journey

Thursday, April 09, 2020

We were asked to write a blog about our biggest struggle in our weight loss journey. Well I've been on this journey for a looooonnnngggg time!

I'd say my biggest struggle is to change my lifestyle completely in order to continue losing! I mean, if I had, then I'd be at goal weight by now!

I've been diligent this last year on following WW and making it work for me. I've lost 38 lbs and feel much better. However, since the holidays, I've been going up and down with the same couple of pounds. First it was the holidays, then a few birthdays and baby showers, then the birth of my grandson and the biggest hurdle....Covid-19. Staying in and not getting to be around my new grandson, plus not going to the gym, and having hubby being here with his love of snacking does not help. I'm not blaming anyone but myself - it's my choice on how I eat or workout.

SO....to combat this weight standoff I'm making it a plan to workout in my house daily for 30 min (maybe 15 min on weekend). This helps my metabolism. I'm still logging all of my food daily (both here and on WW) and am being diligent...no more giving in to the snacking. I think this will turn it around!

I know I can do this!! This is the perfect time to be healthy! This is MY TIME!

My Time Girl... I love it. Paul has become a big evening snacker. Maybe he always was and I didn't notice because I was also snacking. Great plan to get 30 minutes of exercise a day. Move those pounds right off your body and out the door and down the block and miles away! You're doing great and I'm happy for you.
