A colleague of mine told she runs after work - great to leave the day behind.
I started to experiment with it.
What I like that indeed it helps me forget the day, and arrive to the family.
Especially now, when my daily commute takes 2 seconds, from going from one room to the other...
A surprise effect is the beautiful colours of the sunset. I just loved how the light changed during these 30 minutes of exercise.
Otherwise, I am back on track with my running habit, 3x times a week. I settled on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, this seems to work.
For the other 3 days, I started again cycling, like I did in Austria.
Swimming has to wait until the pools reopen after this lockdown.
It's good to be back on the habit-track.
So much easier.
I just looked up one of my posts I wrote willpower and habits here on Sparkpeople in 2013.
Interesting to re-read my thoughts from that time.
They are still so true - and motivating to re-read, and re-do them.
