Quarantine Project Finish #1: Jacob’s Ladder Baby Blanket
Thursday, March 26, 2020
I started this baby blanket about a month ago with an initial deadline of finishing it in time for Mom-to-be’s baby shower in mid-March. That ended up not happening and COVID-19 ended up causing us to begin sheltering in place last week anyway, but last night I was able to finish this blanket.
AND I LOVE IT.
This was the first time I tried this pattern and I am amazed at how easy it was to work up. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants an easy pattern to work, especially right now. You really only need to be able to count to 10 after your initial chains. And the pattern can be adjusted to any size you want. Pattern is ch10 + however many multiples of ch20 you want + ch3. I did ch253 (10+240+3=253) for this blanket. I plan on making an adult version of this blanket soon that will likely be ch353 or so.
