Pain after surgery
Saturday, March 07, 2020
I had surgery on the 19th of February and was told that the pain would be unbearable. The surgery was to remove or shave the bone deformity off the bottom of my left foot.
Surgery went great and I am super happy to report that my pain has been very minimal. I am using less pain medication than I did before my surgery. In fact the pain has been tolerable without anything most of the time. I am still not walking on it more than to just transfer from w/c to outdoor w/c. I have taken a few steps to test the waters to see how awful it really was and it turned out to be fine.
Thank you for all my Spark friends and family for the well wishes, prayers and good vibes. I think that I am finally on the mend and in a couple of months should be up walking so that I an build up endurance again. It has been a very long 10 months up to this point. I know that I still have a couple more months for it to completely heal so that the wound can take the weight bearing. But the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned back on!
I am working on chair exercises by Paul Eugene since he has a "Limited Mobility" video that is upper body only. I am still not able to move my right hip for the moment.
