Today’s a great day!

Friday, March 06, 2020

I received a call from McDonald’s a couple was there and the man had given my daughter a hug and kissed her on the cheek. The manager immediately walked over and kicked them out for loitering and told not to come back. Her pastor was there and knows my daughter enough to see her expression and knew she was scared and called us to let us be aware of the situation. Seems great others are being proactive and taking the initiative. Today we are to meet again for my daughters services to begin as we’ve been trying since 4/1/2016, working with this specific agency since 10/18/18 and I am persistent and not giving up. as disability network puts it “you are not the only parent going through this, your just the only parent that hasn’t given up”. Each time it’s been a no show, last minute cancellations and rescheduled. I am believing today is the day!!!!!

If they stand you up today, find out who this agency is accountable to. So good that the community members stepped up. What makes people think it's okay to hug and kiss, even in a friendly way? Not these days. Hope it turns out great for you and they show up for appt.
