I expect the unusual and find so many blessings

Yesterday when picking up my daughter for her appointments the ambulance was there at the complex. They were taking this lady to the hospital in the same town my daughters swimming lessons would be at later. The question- how will she get back? most of the residents are orphans and widows, all handicapped and we are known as “the parents.” I automatically said I am going to be in that town anyway so I will bring her home after swimming at 7. I get to the hospital and just like the cake situation Sunday, oh “the parents” are here now so I can leave. She was crying all the way home and even though she is 54, she is mentally 8. My empathetic daughter is telling her what she does when she gets scared and was praying for her and to know that my words have not fell on deaf ears. For the 1st time to see my daughter as a grown up and can take control in this kind of a situation, to see her mind and loving heart. It was so worth it!
