Different kind of day

Sunday, March 01, 2020

Where my daughter lives everyone is handicapped. A lady doesn’t know our names just calls us parents as we are kind of advocates for the complex. She asked us to attend her birthday party and asked us if we could get her cake. She ordered it and we only needed to pick it up and pay for it. Never expected it to be a whole sheet cake that feeds 60 and cost 45.99. There were 16 people at her party. Learned my lesson but at least she was blessed. Today I was asked if I would become a mentor at the elementary school I was an aide at a few years ago. It’s only for 1 kid, 1 hour, once a week. The teacher I worked for is now the principal and there are kids that just need to be loved on. Of course, I said yes

OMG! Smiling over the expression on your face when you saw the size of that cake and the bill! But sounds like they enjoyed it.

You don't give up, even when you're tired. And you take on opportunity to do good when asked when you could take that time for yourself. emoticon May God bless you with strength, stamina and energy to do so. Thanks for being YOU!
