In May 2018 I wrote a blog as one of the LTGL parts of the 5% challenges. That was my first one. Another one followed about a year later and something tells me it was again because of the 5% challenge. So here we are again. Winter2020 5% challenge is almost over - one week left to go.And blogging is again on the menu.
I did quite well the first few weeks of this challenge and then went on a cruise. Needless to say, I won't lose 5% of my weight but I am learning to be more careful about what I eat and drink on a cruise.
I don't remember when I joined the 5% challenges - just remember it because of something someone on one of my SparkTeams wrote somewhere. Once was all I needed - I got hooked. I am still aiming for that elusive 5% weight loss but in the meantime I have joined (more than once) Onderland and although I go up and down I am generally now on the good side.
The 5% challenge is good for me because it motivates me to exercise. It's so easy to just sit in front of the TV or the computer or read a book or do a puzzle but what would my team mates say if they knew that I was not giving it my all ??? Also, the LTGL(Live The Good Life) challenges are great for getting ideas of living in a generally more healthy way.
