Nine years ago...
I achieved a major life/health/personal goal which was the culmination of a well lived 'Spark' journey.
Curious? check this out:

That same month I went back to college as a 30-something 'non-trad', 'get-me-the-heck-outta-the-off
ice' geology student.
Nine years + one degree + total career change + life stage + so many other things later....
I'm in a health and physical fitness state that nearly matches where i started my 'Spark' journey in the beginning.
How did this happen?
Nine years sure does pass by fast... at least once you're on this end of it. To put things in a 'time/life' perspective - I've celebrated high school graduations with three of my children, supported one as they finished college, and another as they started, (somewhere in the midst of that My husband and both I graduated too), I inherited two fabulous son-in-laws, changed jobs twice before landing my 'dream' job, welcomed 3 grandchildren and watched my 'baby' outgrow me by 5 inches... and in so many other ways.
There's more good news - I'm finally turning (healthy) things around! Due to a health condition my husband has been trying 'every diet under the sun' over the last few years. Most recently (this may sound familiar) he has jumped on board with a program which along with some health coaching, has him (us) logging food and paying attention to calories consumed vs. calories burned.
Would you believe that using this simple system I've dropped 10+ lbs since the beginning of the year! This sh!t works!
I am thrilled to be coming full circle (with the love of my life on board this time) and getting back to basics, eating healthy and moving a little more.
Lunchtime walks, weekend hikes. Did I mention the fabulous project... um... I mean... property we purchased last fall? So much to do and so many ways to stay active and fulfilled!
Nine years. I've grown in so many ways.... some good, some not so much... but I love where life has landed me!
Lets get to work!
