The Impact we make to others does make a difference

Thursday, February 20, 2020

We spend almost 2 years with e.v.e (end violent encounters) which provides free counseling for sexual abuse victims and families . The volunteers are there for college credits to learn from real life experiences. I heard from two of them yesterday because of our cases they have been accepted into graduate school for their majors. One wants to work with the judicial aspect of reporting a crime, sealing court records, and making the family be aware when media has received f.o.i.a request. All my concerns that were never addressed and violated. The other wants to specialize in the special needs community as the disability justice report is 83% are sexually assaulted in their lifetime. To help strengthen laws and more bills like 4076 to protect this population from being taken advantage of. To start an awareness and training. I am not in the position to make a change but this new generation is stepping up!

That's wonderful and you can be proud that because of your input they have plenty of reasons to get them passed.
