In the minds eye

We were like kids going to the planetarium as it was a whole new experience. My daughter is involved in another agency and last night was the first outing. This is for the sensory challenged, autistic, special needs, individuals , with lights up, sound down talking, making noises and really entertaining. We look at the sky and see stars and now we can look up and make up whatever we want. Depending on the season there are animals flying over us all the time, snakes, bears, dragons, and astrologers can look at 3 stars in a row and it becomes a belt of a giant warrior. 1 Star and it becomes a tiger. The zoo had animal pictures as we looked up at the stars the giant projector could outline the animal, and the zoo would have a picture of the animal the zoo has. The kids would respond mooing, baaing, Barking, and we enjoyed just laughing, letting loose and joining in. The nonjudgmental innocence of being a kid.
