Finally Did A Walk-through Of My Friend's New House

Sunday, February 16, 2020

Yesterday, I finally did a walk-through of my friend's new house. It's in the process of being completely remodeled, so we had to wear masks due to the dust. I have a choice of 2 rooms; 1 of them is bigger, but I'd have to walk across the house to go to my bathroom. The other one is smaller, but right next to my bathroom, so I am leaning toward going with that room. I tested my bathroom's showerhead and bathroom sink. The showerhead's water pressure was fine, but some water leaks to the side of the showerhead a little. The water got hot, but not as hot as I wanted. I kept waiting to see if the water would get hot enough, but my friend got impatient, and told me to turn the showerhead off. I'm a little annoyed about that, and now I'm paranoid that the showerhead water won't get as hot as I need it to. There's a shower door, though, which I like (I hate using shower curtains), but the shower floor looked a little dirty, and my bathroom sink looked worn out (didn't tell my friend this, though). At least the toilet will be replaced. The bathroom sink's water pressure was fine, and the water was nice and hot enough. That said, the garage can definitely fit both our cars, but the driveway is so narrow that I would not be able to exit the driveway safely if both our cars are in the garage (hard to explain). So, I think I will tell my friend via email today that I think I will just park on the street in front of her house. I hope she lowers my rent!

I have been paying my credit cards off every week, and I am now going to just put all my bills on autopay, because I'm tired of manually paying everything every week. This way, I'll be able to get a better idea of my monthly spending.

I went to JCPenney yesterday, and bought 3 plus size work tops, and they cost $103.32 even with a 15% off coupon! :( I've never spent so much on so few clothing items! But to me, they're worth it, because it's hard for me to find short sleeve (I don't like sleeveless tops) formal tops that are pretty and fit me well. I don't know what I'll do when JCPenney and Sears finally go under, because they're where I buy all my clothes.

I haven't drank soda in a week, and I'm not sure if I've lost weight, because I had been weighing myself fully clothed, and now I'm weighing myself in the buff. I don't miss it too much, though, so that's good.

I was telling my coworker that maybe I shouldn't save so much for retirement, because I don't think I'll live long, because of my being overweight. Then I realized that that's a horrible outlook on life, and that I truly want to live long! So, I am going to continue saving money for my retirement, and trying to watch what I eat and drink. I hate exercising, though.

2 of my coworkers have been asking me if I have a boyfriend, and I have just been saying quickly that I'm single, and trying to change the subject (I'm a lesbian). I suspect that they know the truth, and I'm afraid of their disapproval.

I'm so glad tomorrow's a holiday!!!

I'm so upset! My right eye double eyelid unfolded at the corner, so I now have a parallel crease (I want a tapered crease)! :( Also, the crease is getting higher and higher in the morning, and it's freaking me out!

When those stores are gone maybe you can check out Kohl's. My shower is now either TOO hot or not hot enough now that the guy came and fixed it, but I am afraid to complain to management about it, since I didn't request the repair in the first place, the upstairs neighbor had a problem with his shower caused unbeknownst to me by my shower. It's been over a month so I would feel ridiculous and I don't want to make problems. The whole thing about showers is really funny to me! It's funny! emoticon

I use an automatic payment through my bank. No more forgetting and making late payments. I love it!

I am so sorry about the crease in your eyelid. It must be exciting for you to know that you will move soon. Once the place is remodeled, it will so nice for you.

Well, that's good that, overall, you like where you'll be living.

Autopay is a good idea. It really does save time.

As for your eyelid, hmmmmm . . . maybe a good idea to check in w/the surgeon?? Just a thought.
