NikiFix's Journey

Wednesday, February 05, 2020

I am new to this app and trying to get from weighing 169 to 150. I am attempting intermittent fasting and am trying a basic workout routine of walk/jogging 3-4 days a week, strength training 3-4 times a week, and doing yoga at least 2x a week.i don't know if this is the correct way to start out. But I'm desperately trying to loose weight because I need to change my low self esteem in a drastic way because I have never felt even kinda pretty, despite the constant amount of people telling me. This is day one, let's see how it goes!

Here to help support your journey. I would love co-supporting each other.

Starting is the way to start. Then adapt as you go you will find your rhythm.

On the pretty subject I have a few questions for you:

When did you first start to feel not pretty?
What event happened at this point in time?
If is was a person(s) - was their feedback valid?
If so, are you still the same person now and why are you carrying forward an old blue print?
If not valid, why do you give power to things that you know are not logical?
Please name two parts of your body that you dislike and two that you like.
Make a sign for your mirror that says:
"My ____ and ____ are very pretty" fill in your two liked areas.

Every morning for 15 days say this aloud to yourself. Laugh if you need to, make faces if you need to, but say it while looking at yourself in the mirror.

Then please write to me and tell me about your experience.
Hugs - here for you, thanks for the honesty on this post. emoticon emoticon emoticon
