Preparing for the Weekend

This weekend we have hubby's kids coming.. that means that we will be going from 2 kids to 6 kids again. It is so great to have the whole family together, but man is that many kids a lot of work!
To prepare myself, I have meal planned, defrosted the foods, grocery shopped, and even have dinner going in the crockpot already. I still need to do some cleaning but I just feel more like preparing myself mentally. It is so hard to have that may kids, no matter how rewarding that is.
Menu for the weekend includes Keilbasa and potatoes today, Lemon Pepper Chicken, and Pork chops. Breakfasts will be ham and eggs or sausage and eggs. I have a huge salad prepped as well as some cut veggies ready to just eat. I have fruit on hand as well. I might make up a dessert for the kids to have a treat or maybe not. Life isn't about treats, and they eat super unhealthy at their mom's.
One thing that I really need to get used to, is that we will have these kids full time at the end of May, so I really need to be on my toes and prepping. It doesn't seem like that far away..
