Day 35: Getting Back On Track Again

Things are going pretty well as far as getting back on track again. I feel motivated and am getting back to my old self again.
I got in a really good workout this morning. I did an easy chair workout and then I did a good yoga session and some stretches. A 25-minute workout altogether. I feel good afterwards and back on track. Exercise is going well again. I'm getting more flexible, as well. During my stretches I was able to do the quad stretch on both sides. Before I was only able to do it on the right side as I couldn't reach my left foot to pull it back. Now I can do both sides. So making progress bit by bit.
Back to tracking my food again. Eating is about the same as always. Nothing really different. Pretty consistent with what I usually eat. Still trying to work on bringing sodium, sugar, fat down a bit. Protein is still good.
Did a couple of meditations last night but my focus was off. My mindfulness practice is going good in general but lately I just haven't had the concentration that I'd like to have. Perhaps it will help to start reading some Buddhist material again.
Read just a little bit last night, not much. Wasn't really in the mood to read last night. Maybe didn't have a lot of focus in general last night.
Listened to a podcast on how the tiniest habits lead to the biggest changes. It was a really great podcast and I got a lot out of it. This was already something I knew about, but it was good to get some reinforcement about this. This is something I have already been working on: just making small changes and building momentum. The next podcast I plan on listening to will be one on "Staying Focused on Your Why."
My next smoke-free day is tomorrow although I haven't bought any cigars today either and smoking very little today in preparation for tomorrow. Doing my best to build momentum.
Starting back on drinking water again. My goal for today is 3 cups.
