No more depending on the "Depends" lol!

***Blog warning! This is not an easy subject for me, but if it helps anyone else then great! Awesome!

I had 4 kids when I was younger (58 yrs young now lol) and of course my bladder and pelvic floor were never the same. I would start leaking pee every time I tried running, jumping, lifting heavy objects, etc. At first it was just a mini-pad issue, then it became a full sized pad issue. It was super embarrassing! I would double check where all the bathrooms were before going walking or biking, make sure I had pads in my purse for "accidents", etc.
NOT ANYMORE! I had a bladder sling placed in me, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!
I no longer leak, I can walk miles without a problem, bike, etc. So, ok I can't do full on squats or lunges, or planks but I can do modified ones like wall squats. I am soooo happy I did it! There was NO pain involved, just had to be careful for a while when lifting or bending down, until it healed all the way. Don't suffer anymore with leaking! Its just not worth it and it's a relatively easy fix. I was down from walking or exercising for about 1 month but now I can live leak free for years and years! Seems worth it to me! ;)

    took many years to reach the point it did.

    Ahhhh. Good going. Never heard of that sling thing. But Kegels seem to have kept me dry so far, but you never know.
